Floridians have until the end of the day to register to vote in the Aug. 26 election. The late summer contest will decide future judges and school board members, as well as serve as the primary election for congressional races.Voters in 15 counties — including Miami-Dade, Broward, Hillsborough and Pinellas — will for the first time use optical scan machines. Crisafulli Walk

Today a group of us walked for Steve Crisafulli.  There were probably about 20 volunteers out there, including State Representatives Chris Dorworth, Clay Ford and Charles McBurney.  It was great to meet the candidate and network with the other state representatives from out of the area.

The response we got walking was phenomenal.  Everyone I spoke with was very receptive and/or already supports Steve.  Crisafulli is a fourth generation Central Floridian and has very strong family ties to Brevard County.  Even in Orange County though it seems that people are very impressed by his qualifications and ties to the community.

On September 20th there will be a big walk in East Orlando and East Orange County for the YRs to get more involved in.  If you don't get the chance to walk for Steve before that date, please mark your calendar now and come out on 9/20.
